The Leo Yaffe Award for Excellence in Teaching
Established听in 1982, the annual Leo Yaffe Award recognizes听superior teaching at the undergraduate level in the Faculty of Science.听Members of the Faculty of Science and other academic staff who teach Faculty of Science courses and whose departments confer degrees in the Faculty of Science听are eligible for the award. The recipient听is presented with a scroll and a monetary award at the June convocation ceremony.

The President's Prize for Excellence in Teaching
The President's Prize for Excellence in Teaching, established to recognize excellence in teaching and its importance to the academic experience of students at McGill University, is traditionally awarded at Fall Convocation at the Contract Academic Staff (ranked), Course Lecturer, Faculty Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor ranks.
